Strategy, a prominent corporate Bitcoin treasury company, has announced that its shareholders have overwhelmingly voted in favor of corporate amendments that will permit its four preferred stocks to distribute daily dividends. According to preliminary results released by the company on Wednesday, an overwhelming 93.3% of the total votes cast supported the measure.
The successful vote marks a significant shift in how the firm structures payouts for its preferred securities, transforming the frequency of cash distributions from traditional semi-monthly or quarterly timetables to every single business day. The approved changes apply directly to Strategy’s four distinct preferred stock classes: STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD.
Under the new framework, dividends will accrue on a daily basis, encompassing weekends and holidays, while keeping the underlying annual dividend rates unchanged. Company leadership anticipates that the transition to daily payments will begin with STRC on Nov. 2, followed by STRF, STRK, and STRD on Jan. 4, 2027.

In public statements regarding the structural overhaul, Strategy explained that the modifications are intentionally engineered to shorten the lag time between the earning of dividend yields and the actual receipt of cash by investors. Furthermore, the company believes that daily liquidity will bolster price stability and overall market liquidity for its preferred shares, making them more attractive to institutional and retail investors seeking regular cash flow.
Strategy’s suite of preferred stocks features robust annual dividend rates ranging from 8% to 12%. Among them, STRC stands out with a variable dividend rate that is currently set at 12%. The remaining three securities distribute fixed dividends. Additionally, the STRK security provides investors with an optional conversion feature, granting them the flexibility to convert their holdings into Strategy common stock under specified conditions.
The vote follows a period of active capital management by Strategy, which recently made headlines for maneuvers such as allocating $205 million toward STRC buybacks rather than acquiring additional Bitcoin during a specific purchasing window.
Strive Expands Daily Dividend Offerings Following Massive Capital Raise

The move by Strategy mirrors a broader trend among prominent corporate Bitcoin holders experimenting with innovative digital credit and income products to reward investors. Fellow Bitcoin treasury firm Strive blazed a trail in the sector by introducing daily cash dividends on its SATA preferred stock back in June, beating Strategy’s planned implementation by several months.
Since that initial rollout, Strive has continued to refine its capital strategy by launching a second preferred security known as SATS. This newer security offers a fixed annual dividend rate of 15 percent, with daily payments tentatively scheduled to commence on Nov. 9, pending formal declaration.
Strive’s expansion into high-yield preferred equity instruments was underscored by the successful close of a $630 million SATS initial public offering on Oct. 20. During that offering, the company sold 7 million shares at a price of $90 per share. While Strive noted at the time that the substantial proceeds could be directed toward future Bitcoin acquisitions and general corporate objectives, the firm has not yet explicitly detailed the exact proportion it intends to allocate directly to the leading cryptocurrency.
Despite these evolving capital structures and competing income products, Strategy maintains its dominant position as the largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin globally. According to tracking data from BitcoinTreasuries.net, Strategy commands an immense treasury holding of 848,517 BTC. Meanwhile, Strive maintains a substantial footprint of its own, currently ranking as the fourth-largest corporate holder with 43,000 BTC in its digital reserves.
