Rarible Unveils Rebuilt Cross-Chain Marketplace Featuring High-Speed Trading and New Reward System

After spending the past six months rebuilding its platform from the ground up, prominent NFT and digital asset marketplace Rarible has officially launched its redesigned website, transitioning its extensive beta experiment into a fully realized production environment. What began as a testing ground has evolved into a high-performance marketplace engineered for speed, cross-chain discovery, and continuous user incentives managed through a partnership with the RARI Foundation.

Meet the New Rarible: Lightspeed Trading & Cross-Chain Rewards

The overhauled Rarible.com platform draws heavily on the infrastructure initially tested via RaribleFUN, a specialized beta marketplace that launched earlier in the year and accumulated significant traction, recording more than 62 million mints and welcoming over 19 million users since April 2025. By building in public and continuously refining features based on community feedback during the beta phase, the development team has transitioned the platform into its primary alpha release.

At the core of the newly designed marketplace is a distinct emphasis on execution speed. The platform features a stripped-back, optimized trading interface engineered to deliver transaction speeds up to 30% faster than competing platforms on select networks. On high-performance chains, transactions can settle in under one second, providing collectors and traders with a frictionless environment designed to handle heavy volume and rapid market movements without lag or unnecessary complexity.

Beyond speed, the redesigned marketplace serves as an early-access hub for emerging blockchain ecosystems. The platform is designed to provide visibility for newly launched chains, allowing users to explore fresh networks and collect unique digital assets before they become widely available across other commercial venues. This multichain strategy includes support for established networks as well as up-and-coming ecosystems, offering access to specialized environments prior to their mainnet launches. Notably, networks such as MegaETH and Camp Network are available exclusively on Rarible at launch.

The platform officially supports trading across 11 distinct blockchain networks, establishing a comprehensive foundation for multichain commerce. This expansion coincides with broader corporate developments for the company, which recently acquired Flipp, a mobile-first crypto trading application known for its streamlined user experience and rapid onboarding processes. Together, these initiatives form a core component of Rarible’s broader strategy to scale its operations and support the future of onchain transactions.

Alongside the technical overhaul, Rarible has introduced a comprehensive cross-chain rewards program administered by the RARI Foundation. Funded through marketplace fees, the initiative aims to incentivize meaningful user engagement and reward active market participants through a transparent points system. Rather than distributing incentives directly to the immediate buyer or seller in a completed transaction, the system allocates points to the 20 closest alternative active orders within that specific market. According to the platform, this unique distribution model is designed to encourage competitive order placement and foster deeper market liquidity, actively discouraging artificial volume generation such as wash trading.

Traders can earn these points by placing listings and submitting bids across all supported mainnet chains. At launch, this functionality covers a broad array of networks, including Ethereum, Base, HyperEVM, LightLink, Somnia, RARI Chain, Camp Network, and Arena-Z. User activity and point accumulation are tracked via a centralized, public leaderboard that spans across chains, allowing participants to monitor their standings, measure their progress against other traders, and compete for top positions while accumulating rewards.

The accumulated points are subsequently converted into $RARI tokens by the RARI Foundation. Users will be able to claim these rewards directly through the Rarible marketplace interface utilizing the Base chain. Detailed documentation regarding the economic mechanics of the program and token distribution has been provided via dedicated publications by the RARI Foundation.

The launch of the new marketplace marks a significant operational shift for the company. Beginning September 2nd, all incoming traffic to standard Rarible domains has been redirected to the newly designed platform. While the original legacy platform remains operational for the time being, it is slated for eventual deprecation, with the community expected to receive advance notice prior to its official closure. As the platform continues to roll out additional chain integrations and product features, leadership emphasizes that the newly deployed infrastructure is designed to scale alongside the evolving demands of the broader digital asset economy.
