United States-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have mounted a notable recovery, drawing approximately $286 million in net inflows over a two-day trading period. This renewed institutional interest has successfully narrowed October’s net outflows to a modest $26 million, providing a stabilizing force for the digital asset market as broader macroeconomic and sentiment indicators show signs of steady equilibrium.

According to data compiled by SoSoValue, US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $176 million in net inflows on Tuesday, extending their rebound to a second consecutive trading session. This positive momentum followed an influx of $110 million on Monday, culminating in the combined two-day total of $286 million. The latest surge offers a welcome relief to market participants following a volatile end to the previous week, which saw nearly $774 million in heavy withdrawals on Thursday and Friday alone.

Despite the sharp outflows experienced late last week, the sustained buying pressure on Monday and Tuesday has drastically altered the monthly performance trajectory. October net outflows have now narrowed to approximately $26 million through Tuesday, keeping cumulative year-to-date net inflows for the asset class at roughly $850 million. The quick turnaround underscores the persistent demand from institutional and retail investors utilizing regulated spot products to gain exposure to the leading cryptocurrency.

Alongside the resurgence in ETF inflows, broader market sentiment has edged higher. Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index ticked up to 51 on Tuesday, rising from a reading of 48 the previous day. This shift places the widely watched market sentiment gauge squarely back into "Neutral" territory. While the reading remains below the level of 63—which characterized a state of "Greed" just a week earlier—it demonstrates a cooling off of panic following the recent market fluctuations.

Amid these developments, Bitcoin itself has experienced positive price action. At the time of publication, Bitcoin (BTC) was changing hands at approximately $80,818, marking a 1.6% increase over the preceding 24-hour window, according to data from CoinGecko. The price stability and slight upward movement coincide with the return of positive capital flows into the spot ETF products, suggesting that institutional accumulation is finding a solid footing near these price levels.

While Bitcoin investment products are charting a recovery path, the narrative for other major digital assets tells a contrasting story. United States spot Ether (ETH) ETFs have continued to face persistent capital withdrawals, recording about $149 million in net outflows across Monday and Tuesday. This latest batch of redemptions extends a broader downward trend for Ether-based investment vehicles, marking four straight weeks of net outflows.

The sustained selling pressure on Ether products has heavily impacted their monthly tally. October net outflows for US spot Ether ETFs reached a substantial $1.32 billion through Tuesday. This places the month on a clear path toward recording the largest net withdrawals for these products since November 2025, highlighting a clear divergence in institutional risk appetite between Bitcoin and Ether during this phase of the market cycle.
