ARCx Opens Registration Period for ARCX Token Holders Following Pivot to RouteMesh Infrastructure

The team behind the decentralized finance project ARCx has officially initiated a registration-of-interest period for remaining holders of its governance token, ARCX. This development marks a significant milestone in a multi-year transition that has seen the project evolve from a token-governed decentralized autonomous organization into RouteMesh, an infrastructure platform focused on RPC aggregation for the on-chain ecosystem.

Originally launched in 2020 as a token-governed DAO project, ARCx introduced its ARCX governance token to the market in 2021 during a period of rapid experimentation and growth across the decentralized finance sector. However, as market conditions shifted and the project team continued to evaluate its long-term product direction and product-market fit throughout 2022, leadership opted to offer USDC redemptions to token holders who preferred to exit the ecosystem at that time.

For those holders who chose to retain their tokens rather than take the redemption offer, the path forward remained open-ended. The project team provided no immediate strategic direction while they worked behind the scenes to evaluate the appropriate operating focus for the long-term viability of the initiative. Over the subsequent years, that ongoing evaluation ultimately led to a strategic pivot. The core team redirected its engineering and development efforts toward building RouteMesh, an RPC aggregation platform designed specifically to address the pressing industry need for reliable Remote Procedure Call access, a critical infrastructure requirement shaped through direct customer conversations and real-world demand.

Acknowledging that a segment of the original ARCX holder base remained engaged and supportive throughout this prolonged period of uncertainty and transition, the team is now launching a formal process to identify and communicate with these individuals. The newly opened registration period is intended to connect with token holders who may be interested in exploring a potential future arrangement connected to RouteMesh Inc., the corporate entity behind the infrastructure platform.

To facilitate this process, the project has opened a 45-day registration-of-interest window for all ARCX holders. The primary purpose of this administrative period is to help the team accurately determine the relevant holder base, verify wallet ownership, assess the legal and operational feasibility of potential structures, and evaluate viable paths forward for eligible participants.

ARCx to RouteMesh

As part of the registration process, participants are asked to provide necessary wallet details and identification data. Furthermore, the team has clarified that holders who kept their ARCX tokens locked or deposited through various staking contracts—including holders of tokens such as $KERMAN or other related staking positions—must ensure they include the specific wallet address associated with those designated staking positions to properly verify their holdings. The registration window is scheduled to close firmly on August 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Project leadership has emphasized important legal and operational caveats regarding the nature of the registration. Specifically, submitting information through the registration link does not constitute an offer, sale, exchange, conversion, redemption, or issuance of securities or any other financial instrument. Additionally, completing the registration does not create any entitlement, allocation, ownership interest, or automatic right to participate in any potential future transaction or arrangement.

Any prospective future arrangement remains subject to numerous contingencies, regulatory considerations, and internal reviews. The team retains the discretion to determine that no transaction is ultimately feasible, or that any potential arrangement should be made available exclusively to certain eligible holders, specific geographic jurisdictions, or defined categories of participants. Consequently, the project reserves the full right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this entire evaluation and registration process at any time as operational and legal realities dictate.

Reflecting on the journey from the early days of the ARCx DAO to the current development of RouteMesh, the team expressed profound appreciation for the community. Building through years of uncertainty requires a high degree of patience, conviction, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when the ultimate path is not yet fully clear. The core contributors noted their gratitude to everyone who maintained engagement with ARCx through those formative years, as well as to those who have continued to follow the team’s ongoing work as its technological focus evolved.

RouteMesh represents the next chapter of that ongoing work, embodying a focused, disciplined effort to construct robust and reliable infrastructure for an increasingly on-chain world. With infrastructure demands growing alongside the broader blockchain ecosystem, the team stated that they are proud of the operational progress achieved thus far and remain optimistic about the technical and collaborative possibilities that lie ahead.

This newly announced registration process serves as the foundational first step in understanding how the project can appropriately recognize and engage the legacy ARCx holder community as it enters this next chapter. Once the 45-day registration period officially closes and organizers complete the necessary technical and administrative reviews, the team plans to provide further updates via email regarding any potential next steps or structural developments. In the interim, leadership extended its thanks to the community for their continued patience, ongoing support, and enduring interest in the project’s journey.
